The “OF BUILDING” system was installed to monitor the deformations, inclinations, vibrations and imbalances of the façade of the new building, and the deformations of the base slab.
The measurements were carried out with a frequency of one data per second from each sensor at the same time, 150 sensors installed, about 800 m of optical fibre laid, 150 data per second acquired by the system operating 24 hours a day for 365 days.
The type of sensors used are strain and thermal sensors connected to a single acquirer on which the “OF” software runs for analysis of the quantities to be monitored.
The installation was completed in ten days and the monitoring service lasted 38 months. NTSG provided a remote monitoring and alarm management service on behalf of the customer for the entire duration of the site, supplying periodic technical reports and support in interpreting the recorded readings.
