Sensors carried out the measures simultaneously, with a frequency of 1Hz. About 300 m of optical fiber and 60 sensors were installed. 60 data per second were acquired by the system that was operational 24/24h, 365d/year.
The sensors used were strain and temperature bare fiber sensors, so as not to alter the structure. Sensor have been connected to a single acquisition machine running the "OF" Software that provides, in real time, analysis of parameters to be monitored.
The installation has been performed in 5 days and the monitoring campaign has last for 38 months.
